Present petition has been filed for the following relief: "(1) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the administrative authorities to remove the encroachment land gata no. 986Kha area 0.1520 hectare and gata no. 958 area 0.3040 hectare situated at Village Nuwawan, Pargana and Tehsil Amethi, District Amethi which is recorded as pond in the revenue records." 2. Learned Standing Counsel, based upon the instructions, states that proceedings under Section 67 have already been initiated. 3. In view of above, the writ petition is disposed off with direction to the competent court to conclude the aforesaid proceedings expeditiously i.e. within the time as prescribed in the statute.
