The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging irregularity in the construction of a drain in Village Dehli Bazar, Tehsil Baldirai, Pargana Barausa, District Sultanpur. The Standing Counsel, based upon the instructions, states that reasonable steps have already been taken and further steps, as and when required, shall also be taken. It is argued by the petitioner, who is himself a counsel, that he is receiving threats on account of filing the instant PIL. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to take such steps as may be necessary for proper construction of the drain, and in case the petitioner apprehends any threat at the instance of any person solely for filing the present PIL, he would be entitled to approach the S.P.,
