This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to conduct recovery against respondent nos. 4 and 5 in accordance with the audit report. 2. The audit report pertains to the year 2016-17 and for the first time, the petitioner has started sending representations one after the other from June 2024. 3. Nothing has been indicated in the petition as to from where the petitioner has obtained the audit report and what he was doing for all these years since 2016-17. 4. Filing of the petitions, based on procured documents without indicating any basis thereof and that too after a passage of 8-9 years, essentially are mala fide for settling scores with the private respondents, such attempt made in the name of public interest cannot be countenanced. 5. The petition is therefore, dismissed. Order
