Pharmacist Welfare Association, inter alia, seeking direction for compliance of Rule 49 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 ('the Rules'). 2. Submissions have been made that the requirement of qualifications for Drug Inspectors prescribed therein is not being complied with resulting in the likelihood of the general public suffering on account of unqualified Drug Inspectors. Example has been given of one Dinesh Kumar Tiwari, regarding whom allegations have been made that the experience submitted by him, while seeking employment for eligibility purposes, is not in terms of the requirement. 3.
