This petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondents to run the electric buses from Bairahana to Shankargarh. 2. Submissions have been made that electric buses, were being run on the said route, however, the same has been stopped. When representations were made, indications were made that the buses are being run within the metropolitan area and as Shankargarh was beyond the urban limit, the electric buses cannot be operated therein and that on the said route, buses are being operated by U.P. State Road Transport Corporation. It is submitted that the stand taken by the respondents in this regard is incorrect and cannot be countenanced. 3.
