This is a petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita read with Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking quashing of FIR No. 159/2023, dated 28.02.2023, registered at P.S Palam Village, Delhi under Sections 323/325/341/506/308/34 IPC and all proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of settlement between the parties. As per averments made in the FIR, petitioners caused injuries to respondent no. 2 with iron rods, sticks and bats. Consequently, FIR was registered under Section 323/325/341/506/308/34 IPC, PS Palam Village on 28.02.2023. 3. It is submitted on behalf of the State that chargesheet has since been filed under Section 323/341/308/34 IPC. 4. During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have amicably resolved their disputes and executed a Memorandum of Understanding/Settlement dated 24.08.2024. The copy of Memorandum of Understanding/Settlement dated 24.08.2024 has been placed on record as Annexure P-2. 5.
