This is a petition filed under section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as ―1996 Act‖) seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator for a period of 6 months for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the Arbitral Award. 2. The respondent i.e. New Okhla Industrial Development Authority is a statutory body set up under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Act, 1976, responsible for the development and upkeep of the civic amenities in the city of Noida. 5.
