Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. On a plain reading of the first information report impugned in the writ petition, it is clear that the first information report has come to be lodged on a clear allegation of assault that too, of opening the fire at the police party. 3. In these circumstances, it cannot be said that the cognizable is not made out from the contents of the impugned first information report. 4. Interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in such circumstances, is uncalled for. 5. We accordingly, are not persuaded to entertain this writ petition for quashing of the first information report impugned herein. 6. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed without prejudice to the remedy of anticipatory/regular bail. (Shree Prakash Singh,J.) (A.R.Masoodi,J.) Order
