This writ petition has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report dated 16.5.2022 giving rise to Case Crime No.1990 of 2022, under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act (Amendment) 2003, Police Station - Anti Power Theft Station Mathura, District -Mathura. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that FIR was of the year 2022 and the police had started off the investigation as late as in the year 2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is not aware of any provisional notice having been given to him.
