This criminal appeal has been preferred assailing the judgement and order dated 24.2.1984 passed by Vth Additional Sessions Judge, Meerut in Sessions Trial No. 272 of 1980 convicting and sentencing the appellants to undergo one year rigorous imprisonment under section 47 IPC and imprisonment for life under section 302/149 IPC along with fine of Rs. 4000/- each. In default of payment of fine, further imprisonment of four years each under section 201/149 IPC directing all the sentences to run concurrently. 3. The prosecution case in brief is that Sureshpal and Ompal are sons of accused Katar Singh and Ramkali is the wife of Katar Singh. Prem Singh is a friend of Katar Singh. Kadam Sing
