Present criminal appeal arises from the judgment and order dated 31.01.2017 passed by Shri Yogendra Ram Gupta, learned Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 2, Maharajganj, in S.T. No. 37 of 2001, State of U.P. Vs. Ram Vilas and Kodai, whereby the learned court below has convicted the appellants under Section 302 read with 34 IPC and sentenced them to life imprisonment; also it has imposed fine Rs. 25,000/- on each accused person, and provided for default sentence of one year in lieu thereof. 3.
