Submissions have been made that the petitioner, which was formally known as Merchem Limited, is under Resolution Plan approved by the National Company Law Tribunal under which there is settlement of all legal proceedings and other contingent liabilities, however, demand pertaining to the year 2013-14 has been recovered from the bank account of the petitioner. 3. Further submission has been made that a detailed representation dated 2.7.2024, Annexure - 4 to the writ petition, has been made to the respondent no. 3, however, the same has not been decided so far and the amount, as wrongly deducted, has not been refunded back to the petitioner. 4.
