This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved of the demand notice dated 19.11.2024 in relation to House No. 898, Mohalla - Humayunpur Uttari, Gorakhpur issued by the Tax Superintendent, Nagar Nigam, Gorakhpur under Section 506 of U.P. Nagar Nigam Act, 1959. 2. Submissions have been made that assessment of the property in question was made at Rs. 7,000/- which was questioned by the petitioner under the provisions of Section 471 of the Act. However, as demand bill had not been issued, the said proceedings were dismissed by the competent court, however, the respondents continued to issue bills and petitioner continued to respond to the same. However, now a demand has been created to the tune of Rs. 1,41,074/- which is not justified. 3.
