This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to assess and calculate the correct taxes in respect of House No. 134/12-14, Mohalla Semalkheda, District Bareilly. 2. Submissions have been made that the demand notice to the tune of Rs. 11,85,334.66/- has been raised qua the house in question. Though the petitioner, it is claimed, has deposited a sum of Rs. 4,80,000/-, it has not been taken into consideration. Submissions have also been made that petitioner has made a representation with the respondents and therefore they may be directed to decide the same and charge correct tax from the petitioner after taking into consideration the amount already deposited. 3.
