Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner claims to be the co-owner of gata no.768 measuring 1.352 hectare. The representation made by the petitioner on 12.12.2024 indicates that the area of said gata recorded in his favour as a co-tenure holder is less than what is shown in the revenue records. The demarcation proceedings also appear to be pending as is evident from the questionnaire contained in annexure no.4 to the writ petition. 3. Once the demarcation proceedings are pending before the competent court, it is expected that the same shall be decided expeditiously as per the time schedule prescribed under Section 24 of U.P.
