Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed seeking following relief :- "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the learned Commissioner, Gorakhpur Region, Gorakhpur (respondent no.2) to decide and pass order on the interim stay application filed in Revision no.1871 of 2024 (Anil Kumar and Another Vs. Yogesh & Others) expeditiously in the interest of justice." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the interim stay application is pending in the aforesaid case and the same has not been decided till date. Learned counsel prayed that the same may be decided expeditiously. 4. Since the aforesaid interim stay application is pending, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5.
