Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "(i) issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus to expedite the proceeding of Recall/Substitution Application dated 28.8.2023 filed on behalf of petitioner in Case No. 11/2012-13 (Computer Case No. T20161509041591) (Ram Chandra Vs. Sunita), U/S 229(B) of Uttar Pradesh Jamindari Abolition and Land Revenue Act 1950, pending in the court of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Rasra, District Ballia." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the aforesaid application is pending since 28.8.2023. It is further contended that several dates have been fixed but the same has not been decided yet. He prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this
