Riyazuddin raised a preliminary objection about the maintainability of the appeal before the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Padrauna, Kushinagar. The Settlement Officer of Consolidation, vide order dated 03.01.2012, declined to entertain the preliminary objection regarding maintainability of the appeal, and remarking that this was an expedited appeal by this Court, set it down for hearing on 10.01.2012.
