The petitioner does not press prayer Clause II. So far as the first prayer is concerned, what the petitioner seeks is a command directing respondent no. 4 to decide his representation dated 16.08.2024 within a determinate period of time. It appears that Chakbandi operations commenced in the village on 13.11.2007 by issue of a notification under Section 4-A(2) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 (for short, 'the Act of 1953'). The provisional consolidation scheme was framed and objections filed. The consolidation proceeded and finalized up to the appellate stage. Chaks were carved out and all that remained was delivery of possession.
