The petitioner seeks a mandamus of this Court to the Sub Divisional Officer, Sikandarpur, District Ballia and the District Collector, Ballia to the effect that the petitioner's land bearing Gata No. 11/25 admeasuring 33 decimals and Gata No. 511/39/1 admeasuring 33 decimals situate at Mauja- Pur, Pargana & Tehsil Sikandarpur, District Ballia be got measured in accordance with law in the presence of the Police authorities. These applications are purely administrative applications and not applications made invoking any statutory powers either of the Deputy Collector or the Collector, under the U.P. Revenue Code or U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act to demarcate the petitioner's land. The powers of demarcation are available under the U.P. Revenue Code and also under the U.P.
