Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for respondents. 2. Present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "a). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground under Dying in harness rules on the suitable post as per the educational qualification of the petitioner." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner has filed representation dated 20.09.2024 before respondent No. 2, but till date no decision has been taken. Lastly, it is submitted that a direction may be issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the aforesaid representation within a stipulated time, for which learned standing counsel has no objection. 4.
