Affidavit in reply to the compliance affidavit filed today be taken on record. 3. Present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "I). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to respondent no. 3 to pay the arrears of 50% Excess Allowance of the basic pay from the April 2004 to year 2006 (Total Arrears Rs. 79489/-) in light of Government order No. V.A.-2-72/10-2006-31/04 dated 31.01.2006 with interest to the petitioner." 4.
