Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for respondents. 2. Present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "I). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to consider and decide the claim/objection dated 4.5.2024 by which applicant requested to provide seniority since February 2007 of the petitioner within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during pendency of present petition, claim/ objection dated 4.5.2024 has been rejected vide order dated 21.9.2024, therefore, petition may be dismissed as infructuous with liberty to file fresh challenging the order dated 21.9.2024, which is not objected by learned standing counsel. 4.
