Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for State- respondents. 2. Present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "a). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the One Annual Notional Increment Benefit to the petitioner (as due on 1st July 2023) for the Pensionery Benefit, as the petitioner was retired on 30/06/2023 before drawing the same with all consequential benefits. " 3. Pursuant to order dated 3.9.2024, personal affidavit of respondent no. 3 has been filed granting the relief so prayed by the petitioner. Personal affidavit filed today, is taken on record. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that notional increment has been granted to the petitioner vide order dated 20.09.2024, but till date, arrears of notional increment has not been paid. 5.
