The brief facts of the case are that one Mr. Nand Lal, who is the maternal uncle of the respondent no.2/complainant, allegedly promised the complainant that he will get the complainant’s son, namely Mr. Mohit, and daughter, namely Ms. Gunjan, employed in Railways if he is paid a total sum of Rs. 14,00,000/-. The complainant arranged the said amount by selling a piece of land she owned, in addition to obtaining a loan and transferred it as per the instructions of Mr. Nand Lal. 5.
