The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant/petitioner under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter “BNSS”) and/or Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter “CrPC”) read with Section 45 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (hereinafter “PMLA”) seeking grant of regular bail in ECIR/DLZO-II/03/2024 dated 22nd April, 2024 registered under Sections 3 and 4 of the PMLA, arising out of FIR No. 59/2024 dated 12th March, 2024, registered at Police Station - Crime Branch, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 274, 275, 276, 420, 468, 471 read with 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter “IPC”). The brief facts that led to the filing of the instant application are that on 12th March, 2024, FIR No. 59/2024 was registered at Police Station – Crime Branch, Delhi under Sections 274, 275, 276, 420, 468, 471 read with 120B and 34 of the IPC, based on a complaint by SI Gulab Singh.
