This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking directions restraining the schools, colleges and charitable societies from permitting or organizing wedding functions, commercial events, or other non-educational activities in their playgrounds, educational premises, or the surrounding vicinity and enforcement of Government Order dated 29.09.2012. 2. Instructions have been produced by learned Standing Counsel inter alia indicating that in a similar nature petition being Ashish Kumar and another v. State of U.P. and 6 others: Public Interest Litigation No. 1485 of 2019 decided on 26.07.2019, the order dated 29.09.2012 was found to be regressive in nature and, therefore, directions were given to revisit the said order pursuant to which a fresh order dated 06.06.2023 has been issued by superseding the earlier orders dated 29.09.2012
