The present petition is filed under Section 397 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (‘CrPC’) challenging the order dated 30.09.2022, passed by the learned Trial Court, in SC No. 67/2021 arising out of FIR No. 724/2020, registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar West, whereby formal charge for the offences Signature Not Verified Signed By:HARMINDER KAUR Signing Date:18.01.2025 CRL.REV.P. 11/2023 Page 1 of 16 17:15:58 punishable under Sections 376(2)(n)/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’) was framed against the petitioner. 2. At the outset, it is noted that the name of the prosecutrix has erroneously not been masked in the case record as well as order dated 06.01.2023, passed by a Cordinate Bench in the matter, wherein an oral request was made to implead Respondent No.2. It is trite law that in sensitive matters as the present one, the name and identity of the victim ought not to be mentioned. Therefore, this Court considers it apposite to direct the Registry to redact the name and identity of the prosecutrix in the entire case record, including the previous order. 3.
