This petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a direction to the respondents to grant them the benefit of Notional Financial Upgradation in the Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in Pay Band-3, with effect from the date they became eligible for the same, that is, on the completion of four years of service in the Grade Pay of Rs.4,800/- in Pay Band-2, along with arrears and all other consequential benefits. 2. The petitioners in support of their claim are placing reliance on the Judgment of this Court in Sushil Kumar v. Union of India & Ors., 2024:DHC:6969-DB. 3. The respondents have issued a Circular dated 06.12.2024, stating that they are waiting for the necessary instruction from the DoPT/BSF Headquarters in this regard.
