HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURESH REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 9736 OF 2024 ORDER: This criminal petition, under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos. 3 and 4 seeking to release them on bail in crime No. 32 of 2024 of A.Annavaram Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8 (c) read with Section 20 (b) (ii) (C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2. Heard Sri Sravan Kumar Naidana, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners-accused Nos. 3 and 4, and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State. 3. Case of the prosecution in brief is that on 31-08-2024 at about 4 p.m., the Sub Inspector of Police, A.Annavaram Police Station, along with his staff and mediators apprehended the petitioners-accused Nos. 3 and 4 at the outskirts of Itukubeddalu Village, Balapam Panchayat, Chintapalli Mandal, while they were transporting 370.7 K.Gs. of Ganja. After conducting panchanama and after seizing the contraband, the Sub Inspector of Police arrested the petitioners-accused Nos. 3 and 4 and remanded them to judicial custody. 4.
