THE HON’BLE JUSTICE Dr. V.R.K.KRUPA SAGAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.6480 of 2024 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), is filed by the petitioner/A.1 seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.417 of 2024 of Patamata Police Station, Vijayawada City, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 370A(2), 370(3) and Sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. 2. Heard arguments of Sri Ramu Panchumarthi, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent-State. 3. Perused the record. 4. F.I.R. in this case was registered on 27.05.2024. Door No.54-20/6-10, Kanakadurga Gazetted Officers Colony, Gurunanak Colony, Vijayawada was raided and sex workers were rescued and customers were caught. During investigation sex 2 workers and other witnesses were examined by the investigation agency. 5. The petitioner being arraigned as A.1 seeks pre-arrest bail. The learned counsel contends that he is a married man with children, and he is innocent and he is neither owner nor the tenant in the building that was raided.
