THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No.256 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A1, seeking bail, in Crime No.55/2021 of Maredumilli Police Station, East Godavari District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offence u/Sec.20(b)(ii)(C) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. The case of the prosecution is that: On 28.5.2021 at about 2.15 pm, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I Maredumilli Police Station, along with staff reached outskirts of G.M.Valasa junction towards Chinthuru road, and while they were conducting vehicle checking, they found one Ashok Leyland lorry bearing no.MH 22 AN !313 and one Hero Glamour Motorcycle bearing no.AP 39 GC 1452 coming from Chinturu and proceeding towards Maredumilli. On suspicion, the police stopped the said two vehicles and they A2 to A6 in those vehicles, and on interrogation, A2 to A6 disclosed their identity particulars and police seized 375 kgs of ganja from their 2 posses
