THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 206 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking anticipatory bail, in Crime No.90/2024 of Chinturu Police Station, Alluri Seetharamaraju district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and another for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’). 3. Case of the prosecution in brief is that on 04.12.2024, at about 07.15 pm, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chinturu Police Station, on receipt of credible information about illegal possession and transportation of ganja, secured the presence of mediators and conducted vehicle checking opposite to Chintur police station. They found one white colour Bolero vehicle bearing registration no.AP 26 AG 8788 coming from Sileru. On seeing police, the inmates in the car tried to skulk away.
