THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No.180 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking bail, in Crime No.554/2024 of Pendurthy Police Station, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 r/w 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution is that in 18.11.2024 at about 11.00 am, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I. of Police, along with staff, rushed to check post, near Amaravathi water park, Saripalli, Pendurthy, Visakhapatnam and started conducting vehicle checking. They found two persons coming on a Scooty bearing registration no.AP 39 SB 0621 and on seeing police, the two persons tried to escape by turning the Scooty back. Then police apprehended them who are A1 and A2 and on interrogation, they disclosed their identity particulars and police seized 4 kgs of hash oil from them. They were arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 4.
