Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar vide his letter dated 31.05.2023 has informed this Court that sole appellant Chetan Agrawal Alias Bhopu has already passed away on 30.01.2023. 3. In verification of his death, statement of his cousin Sujeet Kumar and his mother Archana Agarwal has been recorded. Death certificate issued by Government of Uttar Pradesh has been annexed. Police report of S.I. Rajnish Pal, Police Station Philkhana, District Kanpur Nagar has also been annexed. 4. In view of the above, since the sole appellant Chetan Agrawal Alias Bhopu has already passed away, the instant criminal appeal is dismissed as having been abated. 5. The sureties are discharged.
