By the present petition, the petitioners pray for the grant of the Notional Monetary Benefits in replacement pay scale to the Petitioners with effect from 01.01.1996 to 10.10.1997, as per the ranks held by the petitioners as on 01.01.1996. 2. In support of their claims, the petitioners place reliance on the Judgment dated 14.08.2024, of this Court in a batch of petitions, including W.P.(C). Having considered the contents of the petition, we are of the opinion that the respondents should consider the same as a representation of the petitioners and decide upon the same within a period of twelve weeks from today, especially keeping in view the Judgment of this Court in Ajit Singh (supra). 6. In case the petitioners are held entitled to the reliefs as claimed, the same shall be released to the petitioners, however, restricted to a period commencing from three years prior to the date of filing of the present writ petition.
