This petition has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved of the order dated 29.4.2024 passed by the respondent no. 3 under Section 73(9) of the G.S.T. Act, 2017 ('the Act'). 2. Submission has been made that the petitioner was issued a show cause notice dated 29.1.2024 for appearance on 28.2.2024. However, it is claimed that the said notice was not served on the petitioner and that on account of non service of notice, the petitioner could not appear before the respondent, resulting in passing of the ex-parte order dated 29.4.2024, raising a demand of Rs.11,64,588/-. 3. Submission has been made that the Director of the Firm had some family problem whereby his grandmother has died and family members suffered from serious illness and therefore, he could not appear before the authority. 4.
