The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioners in light of a report dated 06.10.2022 by Tehsildar, Jalaun. 3. The case of the petitioners is that they have not been paid compensation for their share in the acquired land. The acquisition was undertaken under the provisions of Act No. 30 of 2013 and award has been duly made. However, compensation amount has not been disbursed to the petitioners. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the instructions received from District Magistrate, Jalaun, according to which the total area of Gata No. 104 is 1.757 hectare.
