The petitioner has prayed for payment of compensation to him for Gata No. 1699 area 1.1500 hectare, village- Kachnarwa, (Besahu Khadi), Tehsil- Obera, District- Sonbhadra. 2. The case of the petitioner is that the State-respondents had constructed a primary school over the aforesaid land of the petitioner. The respondents assured that the petitioner would be given employment in the school. On account of the said assurance, the petitioner signed on blank papers, as required by the respondents without making claim for compensation. The petitioner was offered appointment as 'Chowkidar' in the primary school on remuneration of Rs.1,000/- per month. The petitioner did not accept the offer and prayed for compensation.
