Prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to release compensation amount in favour of the petitioners in respect of their share in Plot No. 1002-Gn and 1001-P, Village Dharna, Pargana Mawayee, Tehsil Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar, District Chandauli, in pursuance of award dated 1.6.2023. 3. The acquisition is for the benefit of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (respondent no. 3). Respondent no. 3 has taken the stand that there was no actual division of the shares of various persons and on enquiry, they were found to be in possession at a different site other than the one purchased through sale deed. 4.
