Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the Restoration Application dated 26.06.2023 taken on record on dated 28.06.2023 of the petitioner. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to maintain status quo." 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the aforesaid restoration application is pending since 2023 before respondent no.2 for adjudication. He prayed that the same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5.
