The instant petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondents to decide the representations dated 02.02.2024 and 02.12.2024 filed by the petitioner before the respondent-Authorities making claim for payment of compensation at the rate of Rs.10,000/- per sq. mtr. in case the respondents want to acquire the land of the petitioner in pursuance of a public notice dated 28.01.2024. 2. It seems that the respondent-Development Authority has issued the aforesaid notices notifying its intention to acquire title over a large parcel of land including the land of the petitioner for public purpose on basis of mutual negotiations. The notice mentions that a committee constituted by it has decided the compensation at four times the circle rate.
