Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents and perused the record. 2. This petition has been filed for the following relief: "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the District Magistrate, District Deoria (respondent no.2) to decide the representation dated 10.10.2024 moved by the petitioner within stipulated period which may be fixed by this Hon'ble court." 3.Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that respondent nos. 4, 5 & 6 were granted fisheries lease and they have not deposited 3/4 amount within time and therefore, a mandamus may be issued to District Magistrate to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that in the garb of this petition, the petitioner wants to challenge the fisheries lease granted in favour of the respondents.
