The petitioner has applied for establishing an industrial unit for which grant of consent to establish (CTE)/ consent to operate (CTO) is a condition precedent for establishing/ operating industrial activity. 3. The petitioner admittedly has applied on 20.01.2025 for the issuance of CTE/CTO. The statutory provision whereunder the application has been filed provides a maximum period of four months within which such a permission is to be considered and finalized by the competent authority in accordance with law.
