Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed for following reliefs: "to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari and set aside the order dated 5.11.2024 by which respondent no.7 Rohit Kumar, has been granted lease/patta of Pond situated on Gata No.163 area 0.2740 hectare situated in the village - Bariyawan, Tahsil - Handia, District Prayagraj in pursuance of selection/proposal dated 04.09.2024 i.e. annexure no.4 to the writ petition after calling for the records." 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that lease of fisheries right over the Pond has been illegally allotted in favour of respondent no. 7 by the respondent authorities. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has pointed out that an appeal is provided under Rule 59 of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016, according to which any persons aggrieved may prefer an appeal
