The petitioner purchased these plots from on one Naim son of Faheem @ Haidar through a registered sale deed dated 30.11.2021. The petitioner filed objections under Sections 9- A of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 before the Assistant Consolidation Officer, where Naim and the petitioner compromised the matter in terms whereof the petitioner's name was mutated in the revenue records. The Assistant Consolidation Officer passed orders based on the compromise on 06.08.2022. Respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6, claiming to have purchased from Naim through a registered sale deed dated 17.08.1996, appealed the order of the Assistant Consolidation Officer to the Settlement Officer of Consolidation.
