When the matter is called, the learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the petitioner is challenging the appointment of the 5th respondent as Anganwadi worker. It is submitted that the 5th respondent was selected by the selection committee and orders of appointment were issued. After she was placed at seniority No.1 in the merit list, the selection committee, consisting of the ICDS 2 Project Director, District Welfare Officer(DWO) and Child Development Agency (CDA), District Magistrate (DM), Head Office (HO), the local MLA, and the RDO, conducted the interviews, and the 5th respondent secured the highest marks in the
