The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No.178/2019 dated 10.09.2019, registered at Police Station Greater Kailash, for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’), and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom qua the petitioners. 2. Shorn of unnecessary details, the brief facts of the present case are as follows: 2.1. On 10.09.2019, on the basis of a complaint made by Respondent No.2 on 20.06.2019, the FIR was registered against her husband– Mr. Sooruj Gupta, his parents and the petitioners.
