The Union of India, by means of the present writ petition, seeks to assail judgment dated 25 October 2024, passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal1 in OA 711/20182. The Tribunal has, by the impugned judgment, allowed the OA in the following terms: “29. Accordingly, the present OA is allowed with following directions:- i. Order dated 16.08.2018 is quashed and set aside; ii. The applicant is entitled for Super Time Scale (L-14 in the Pay Matrix) promotion w.e.f. 01.01.2017 if he is otherwise suitable. iii.
