The present petition has been filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 (hereinafter, referred to as the „A&C Act‟), challenging the Award dated 29.12.2023 (hereinafter the “impugned award”). The petition is accompanied by an application for condonation of delay of 63 days in re-filing of the petition. 2. At the outset, the respondents have objected to the maintainability of the present petition on the ground of delay by asserting that it is beyond the condonable period prescribed under Section 34 (3) of the A&C Act. In view of this preliminary objection, the Court has heard the learned counsel for the parties at length on the said aspect. 3.
